Fish Cutlet


Ingredients:

Canned Tuna in water - 2 cans ( Drain out water and take the fish in a bowl)
Onions - 1/2 cup chopped finely
Carrot - 2 medium shreaded
Potato - 3 medium boiled and mashed
Green Chillies -10 diced finely
Coriander leaf -1/4 cup chopped finely
Mint Leaf - 1/4 cup chopped finely

Turmeric Pd - 1/2 tsp
Chilly Pd - 2 tsp
Coriander Pd - 2 tsp
Cumin Pd - 1 tsp
Salt - as needed
Ginger and GArlic PAste - 1 tsp each
Oil - For Frying
Egg - 1 beaten with 1/4 cup water
Yellow CornMeal - For coating , use breadcrumbs .These give crips Coating,if you want softer coating use AllPurposeFlour.
Personally i prefer crisp coating so i used cornmeal as i didnt have breadcrumbs.
Cornmeal is different from cornstarch.Cornstarch is a flour it can also be used for coating , but cornmeal is granulated one just like sooji /semolina.

Method:
1.To Tuna add Turmeric Pd , ginger garlic paste.
2.Then add all other items one by one .Adding vegetables.
3.Adding Spices
4.Adding Mashed potato and mix them thorougly by hand and make it into a paste.
6.Then make them into patties and keep in refrigerator for 10 min.
7.To fry take beaten egg along with water in a bowl and cornmeal in another bowl and keep the patties ready while oil is getting hot.

8.Once oil is hot take a patty dip it in egg mixture and then dip it in corn meal thoroughly and drop it gently into oil.Check 1 patty first for test before adding all patties initially.
9.Fry all the patties and serve it with sweet and spicy sauce like sweet chilli sauce or even duck sauce goes well with this.
