Aval / Pressed Rice - 2 cups
If using thick Flakes soak it in water for 15 min and squeeze out all water and keep it ready.
If using thin flakes soak for 5 min and squeeze all water and keep it ready.
Onion - 1/2 medium thinly diced
Green chillies - 1 finely chopped
Curry leaf - 1 sprig
Coconut flakes - 1/4 cup
Oil- 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Dried Red chillies - 2
1.In a pan add oil then add mustard seeds once they sputter add Urad dhal,curry leaves and red chilly.
2.Then add Onions and green chillies along with curry leaf and saute till onions are translucent.
3.Then add Rice flakes and salt and mix well.
4.Let it heat throughly. Saute for 5 min.
