Chaat - Bhel Puri




So this is our go to Recipe when i have no clue what to make for dinner or lunch.
Will just chop up some vegetables and add some Tamarind Dates & Mint Chutney and  mix well and add some Puffed Rice,and Enjoy.
Well you can beauty up the recipe with your imagination add corn,garbanzo,mango,Sev,cucumber,bell peppers,onions,tomato,mint,coriander leaves,Radish,carrot,potato boiled,lentils etc etc.
All you need is some Tamarind Dates Chutney and Mint Chutney which i always have in my refrigerator for these kind of emergencies.
You can buy them in your local Indian Groceries.
Its a quick easy Chaat for a tired long day.This dish is all about Mixing and how you present.The combo of ingredients below guarantees you 100 % tasty chaat.

Ingredients:


Bhel/ Puffed Rice - 1 cup 
Onion - 1/4 cup Chopped
Tomato - 1 ,seeded and chopped into cubes
Cucumber - 1 cup chopped
Bell Peppers - 1 cup chopped
Garbanzo - 1/2 cup boiled
Potato - 1/2 cup boiled and crumbled
Mango - 1/2 cup chopped
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Sev - 1/4  cup
Tamarind Dates Chutney - 3 tbsp or more
Mint Chutney - 1 tbsp as its spicy
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Yogurt - 1 to 2 tbsp
Chilly pd - to garnish 

Method:


Mix all chopped vegetables and other ingredients except bhel and sev with both chutney, chaat masala and yogurt and mix them.
Keep this is refrigerator and while you are ready to serve add bhel and mix them with hand by pressing them,this will make sure the flavors are infused properly.
Then garnish with sev and coriander leaves.
And a drizzle of both chutney and sprinkle of chilly pd and chaat masala.
