Egg Salad Recipe

So with the easter came lot of boiled eggs at home have to finish them some how or other and what else other than egg salad can finish a bulk amount of boiled egg in a go.


Hard Boiled Egg - 8 to 9
Very Finely Chopped Celery - 2 stalks
Salt and pepper - as needed
Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup or less as needed
Sweet Pickled Relish - 2 tbsp
Dijon Mustard - 1 to 2 tsp
Lime juice (optional) - if needed


How to make Hard Boiled Eggs
Another method,is take eggs in a pan and fill it with 1 inch of water above it and place it in stove and let it come to one boil and switch off flame and cover and let it sit in hot water for 8 to 9 min.
Then run cold water till the eggs are completely cooled ,you can also put the eggs in ice cold water and let ti sit for 40 min,then peel the shell.

1.Break eggs into small pieces and mash them using fork into tiny pieces like crumble.The color on the egg is from food color used on easter egg painting.Add pepper and salt .

2.Then add chopped celery and mix well.

3.Then add mayonnaise,dijon mustard , relish,salt and pepper and mix well with fork once again.

4.Then do a taste check and add any seasoning if needed and cover it and let it sit in refrigerator for 3 min before serving.

You can have this salad as is or as as a sandwich,one sandwich is quite filling.
