I found an article to cook SQUASH by slow cooker and i tried it, the results are great and i didn't know squash taste so good like this...
I used butternut squash,just clean them,remove the core and seeds and cut it into pieces and put in a slow cooker with a stick of cinnamon (if needed),add 1/4 cup of water ,but its not necessary.I added water because my slow cooker was making some cracking sound  i didn't want to crack it so i added,but the recipe told adding water is not necessary.But to make it more flavourful you can add apple juice or pear juice too.
Leave it on high for 4 hrs ...Ta da ...soft yummy squash is ready ,peel skin off and mash it up .
Have it with Butter and Cinnamon instead of mashed potatoes for your dinner or add some brown sugar to have it as a dessert.
Its a beautiful dish ,everyone should try it...What will happen if i try the same method for sweet potatoes and pumpkin...Will upload the results once i try that....
Oh forget to tell your house smells like Fall because of the cinnamon....
