A simple recipe for a lazy day...yet my recipe is so simple i use very less items ,thats the way i like it...simple and plain...why dont u guys try this once and tell me how it tasted....



Ingredients:


Cooked Raw Rice - 3 cups
Tomato – 2 big chopped finely
Onions - 1 medium size sliced thinly
Green Chillies - 3 slit
Curry Leaf - 1 sprig
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Red chilly Powder - 1 teaspoon
Oil – 4 tablespoon
Salt – 2 teaspoon
Channa Dhal - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – little for garnishing(optional)

Method:

1.Take a pan add oil once its hot add  mustard seeds ,channa dhal.
2.Once channa dhal turns brown add curry leaf then onions,green chillies along with salt and turmeric pd.
3.Once onions are translucent ,add tomatoes and saute well till its very smooth and  creamy.
4.Then add chilly powder and add little water like 1/4 cup and saute till the raw smell of chilly powder is gone.
5.Then do a taste check.
6.Now add rice little by little and mix completely .Keep doing this until all rice is incorporated completely and don't mix too much also just give a gentle fluff while adding every batch of rice to maintain its shape.
7.Serve it with fried papad....
