Tomato Jam

A good combo for Briyani's...The Spiciness of briyani will be matched by sweetness of the Jam...I made this jam with tomato paste(so easy to make jam) but you can also try this with fresh tomatoes(little time consuming,yet worth it)





Ingredients:


Tomato Puree:


Tomatoes - 5  big
Grind it to a puree and filter it to remove seeds(optional).....

Tomato Paste - 1 can ( 7 oz) / Tomato Puree.
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup

Method:


With Tomato Paste:


Take a pan and add ghee and add tomato paste....add once once its curling up add sugar and mix well till u see the paste is no more sticking to the pan and curled up ...transfer to serving dish...

With Tomato Puree:

Take a pan add ghee and add tomato puree along with sugar....cook till it becomes thicker ..this takes long time....so keep patience and keep stirring...once its curling up and not sticking any more...transfer to serving dish....
