Hmmm.....i guess this should be every ones favourite.....

I made it full dry for my (hubby) Bhagavath Kumar which is nostalgic to him bringing back all his train travel during old days from delhi to kanyakumari  where his mom dad  pack meals for their three days travel....in which this is one of the item he remembered having ........Now its up to him to tell whether its like that or different.......

Ingredients:
----------

1.Mutton - 1/2 kg (cut into small pieces- boiled in pressure cooker with ginger ,garlic paste and turmeric to 8 to 10 whistles)

*I would suggest to go with 1 kg as 1/2 kg was not sufficient i had to add soya granules chopped(1 cup of raw) and  potatoes cut in to very small pieces boiled along with soya.

2.Onion - 1 big size (cut in to big pieces and boil in water then ground to fine paste in blender)

*You can also grind onion without boiling but i don't like the pungent smell coming from it ,so i will always boil when using ground onion.

3.Garam Masala - 2 tbsp

4.Gingely Oil - 4 tbsp

*You can add Extra Oil for make it more dry and tasty.

5.Curry Leaves - 3 sprigs

6.Turmeric Pd - 1 tsp

7.Salt as needed

8.Chilly Pd - 4 tsp

9.Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Method:

Take a pan and add oil and immediately add onion paste ,Boiled Mutton,Turmeric Pd , Chilly Pd ,curry leaves, Garam Masala , Soya (if used)...now the trick comes in sauteing it for a long time till all oil starts to ooze and becomes very dry...add salt as needed.......add potatoes before last 15 min and mix well and mash it together.....finally add some more curry leaves to give extra flavour....add a tsp of lemon juice to blend the flavours together....
