Ingredients:


Bone less Chicken  - 1 lb
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp each
Turmeric Pd - 2 tsp
Onions - 1 Big size sliced thinly
Cinnamon stick - 1 "
Bay leaf - 1
Cardamom - /2
Cloves - 2
Star Anise - 1
Mustard Seeds - 2 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Chilly Pd - 2 to 3 tsp
Garam Masala - 2 tbsp
Coriander Pd - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Curry leaf - 1 sprig
Green Chillies - 5 no
Tomatoes - 3 no diced
Meat Tenderizer - 1 tsp

Preparation:


Mix chicken with meat tenderizer for 30 min.This will make chicken tender.

Method:

1.Heat a kadai ,add oil,once its hot add Whole garam masala ,then add mustard seeds ,let it splutter.
2.Once they splutter add onion then turmeric pd, ginger garlic paste and saute well,till the onions are brown and ginger garlic paste is cooked well and raw smell is gone.
3.Then add green chillies and tomatoes and saute well.
4.Then add chilly pd ,garam masala , coriander pd and stir very well.Add 1/2 cup water if needed so masala doesn't burn.Add salt now and do a taste check.
5.Then add chicken and mix well.Add 1 cup of water or till chicken is covered fully in water.
6.Cover and cook till chicken is tender and cooked thoroughly.
7.Open lid once chicken is cooked.Keep flame in high and cook uncovered till all the water is completely gone and it becomes dry.
8.Add tablespoon or two of oil and keep stirring until the chicken gets crispy and its very dry.
9.Chicken Chukka is ready .Serve  with rice.



Tips:


You can also try this recipe without tomato too and it gives a dry roast which is completely dry and of different taste too.
