You can use either spinach or methi (fenugreek) leaves ....i used spinach.... for kofta I used my own version and I cooked it in oven at high broiler mode for 15 min ....but if u want to do by traditional way, do koftas like in other recipes. ....And boil them in water with some Cardamom, Cloves, cinnamon.



Ingredients:


For kofta:

Ground Meat - 1/2 lb
Onion - 1/2 of medium size
Green Chilly - 4 chopped finely
coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
Kashmiri Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Black Cardamon powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Curry leaf - 5 chopped finely

For matz:

Spinach - 1 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Hing - a pinch
Cloves - 2
Green Chilly - 3 chopped finely
Fennel powder - 1 tsp
Ginger powder - 1 tsp


Method:

Make kofta like mentioned above. ....
Take a pan add oil, Cloves, green chillies, spinach.
Once they are all cooked add Fennel powder, ginger powder, turmeric, Chilly powder and saute well till raw smell is give.
Then add water and koftas along with any water left with it while cooking koftas.
Add salt if necessary.
Let it go through rapid boil and then cover it and let it sit for 20 minutes before serving.
Serve hot .
