Ingredients:

Beetroot Shredded - 3 medium
Moong Dhal - 3 tbsp , Soaked for 10 min
Green Chillies - 3 slit
Coconut Shredded - 1/4 cup
Salt

For Tempering:
Oil -1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Curry Leaf - 1 sprig
Urad Dhal Split - 1 tsp

Method:

1.Take a pan and add oil and add tempering ingredients.Once they are done add green chillies and beetroot.

2.Then add moong dal and salt and cover and cook for 15 min till the dhal is tender and easy to bite.If its not yet cooked sprinkle som more water and cover and cook till dal is cooked.Dont cook too much also its should have a bite to it.

3.Then add Coconut shredded and mix and cook for 5 min ,then remove from flame and transfer to a serving bowl.
Serve with Sambar Rice.
