Ingredients:

  • Coconut Oil - 6 Tbsp (90 ml) (Option:Butter)
  • Semisweet chocolate chips - 6 oz 
  • Large eggs - 2 @ room temperature
  • Granulated Sugar- 2/3 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 2 tsp 
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
  • arrowroot powder - 3 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp 

Method:

  • 1.Take a microwave bowl and add coconut oil and chocolate chips and heat in microwave for 30 sec and stir and repeat this till chocolate is melted completely.Let it cool before adding to the egg mixture later.


2.Preheat Oven to 350 degree.Grease a 8 x 8 baking tray and line it with parchment/wax paper for easy removal and grease the paper too and keep it ready.


3.Mix egg and vanilla and beat them thoroughly with a whisk.


3.Then add Sugar to the fluffier egg mixture and beat it thoroughly well again.Then add melted chocolate mixture and beat them well together.


4.Mix cocoa powder , salt and arrowroot powder together through a sieve to get a uniform mixture.Then add that to the egg mixture and gently fold it with out overmixing.
If your toddler is interested in baking this brownie , Ask her/him to do this mixing so they do a gentle mix without overmixing.Thats what we need here no overmixing and make the brownies tough.


Note : Spatula is gonna get cleaned by licking process :-)


5.pour it into the baking tray and bake for 25 to 30 min till the toothpick inserted in center comes out clean with no batter.



6.Let it cool in baking pan for 30 min,before taking it out and cool for additional 20 min.


7.Cut and Serve with a cup of milk.
