Murungai keerai Paal Kootu

Ingredients : 

To cook dhal:

Masoor dhal - 1/4 cup
Moong dhal - 1/4 cup
Turmeric pd - 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/2 tsp

Method:

Pressure cook the above ingredients with 1 cup of water for 4 whistles and keep it aside.

To make kootu:

Drumstick Leaves - 3 cups,washed and cleaned.
Shallots  / Pearl Onions - 1 cup chopped
Tomato - 1 medium finely chopped
Green chillies  - 2 Slit
Lightly Crushed cumin seeds - 3 tsp
Lightly Crushed whole pepper - 1 tsp
Salt - as needed 
Coconut - 1/4 cup,ground  finely with water and extract the coconut milk and keep it ready.

For tadka:

Coconut  Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp 
Curry Leaf - 1 sprig 
Dry Red chillies  - 1 
Hing - 1/2 tsp

Method :

1.In a wide pan add cooked dhal,drumstick leaves,onion,tomato,green chillies and cook them all together till all veggies are cooked.
2.Add water if it's getting thicker.Add Crushed Cumin Seeds and Crushed Pepper.MAsh it well once the yare well cooked with a potato masher.
3.Then finally add salt and coconut milk paste at the end and give it one boil and switch off flame.
4.Finally add lemon juice and give a final mix.
5.Make tadka using the tadka ingredients and pour it on top of the curry and let it sit for 10 min for serving.
6.Serve hot with Hot White rice and Papad.
