This is a quick ,simple ,easy to make Jeera Aloo which is a dry recipe and it goes with white rice and roti as a dry side dish. But it will do wonders with Taco,Bread Sandwich
Make this simple dish when you are tired at home but the end result will be tastefully satisfying when having your meal more than any complicated dish.

Ingredients:

4 Medium Potato, cut into big pieces
1 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
1 Green Chilly
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 cup Onion
1/2 tsp turmeric pd
1/2 tsp Dry Mango Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup coriander Leaves
1/2 cup peas
1/2 lime

Method:

1.Take a pan ,add oil and then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds once its hot.Let them splutter
2.Then add Onions and green chillies along with turmeric Pd.Saute them very well.Once they are sauted well add ginger garlic paste and saute them till their raw smell is gone. Then add dry mango powder and salt.Add a tbsp of water to help cook the spices if the masala is getting too dry.

3.Then add Cubed Potato and give a mix ,then add 1 cup water and cover and let it cook on medium flame for 15 to 20 min, till the potatoes are cooked tender but not mushy. If you insert a knife in potato it should go easily but not break the potato. Here the potato should stay in shape thats the secret of the recipe.

4.Once the potatoes are cooked add peas and cover and let it cook for 5 min, then open lid and increase flame and let the water completely evaporate and the dish should become dry.Don't overccook and make potato mushy.

5.Finally garnish with coriander leaves. Give a stir ans switch off flame.
6.Then add lime juice and give a final stir and cover and let it sit for 15 min before serving.

Serve with white basmathi rice which is my favourite, but it goes really good with any dish.
