Stuffed Bell Peppers/Capsicum

The stuffing is Northindian based Potato Mixture


Onion - 1 medium size chopped finely
Green Chilly - 3 chopped finely
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp each
Potatoes - 5 Peeled and boiled .
Oil - 1 tbsp
Curry Leaf - 1 sprig
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Turmeric Pd - 1 tsp
Chilly Pd - 1 tsp
Coriander Pd - 1 tsp
Cumin Pd - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp chopped finely

Capsicum - 2 cut into halves


Take a pan add oil and add mustard seeds,jeera,then the curry leaf.
Then onions saute them well along with green chillies and turmeric.
The nadd ginger garlic paste ,saute them for 5 min.
Then add all other spices and mix well.
Add a little water and let the masalas get cook properly.
Add potatoes and mash them well and saute them till all the spices are blended thoroughly.
Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
Stuff it inside Capsicum Halves .

On Tawa on Stove Top:

Take a pan add oil and place capsicum on tawa and grill for 5 min.

On Oven :

Preheat the oven to 350 degree...then coat the capsicum with oil then fill the stuffing inside...then place in a oven tray for 30 min...or untill u see the capsicum is wilted properly.


You can try this recipe with tomatoes ,potatoes also instead of capsicum.
For tomato cut the top of tomato and scoop inside fleash out and use it.
For Potato , Cut potato in halves and scoop inside flesh out and make it like a bowl and deep fry the outside in oil and use the fried part to fill the stuffing.
