Ristha ( Kashmiri Recipe)

Delicious koftas in a red gravy



Ingredients:

Ground Meat - 1/2 lb
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Jeera powder - 1/2
Kashmiri Red Chilli pd - 1/2 tsp
Fennel pd - 1/2 tsp
Black Cardamom - 1/4 tsp

Gravy:


Salt - 1/2 tsp
Green Cardamon - 2
Black Cardamon - 1
Cloves - 3
Cinnamon - 1 "
Oil - 4 tbsp
Onion - 1 medium size
Kashmiri Red Chilli pd - 3/4 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ginger pd - 1/2 tsp
Fennel pd - 1/4 tsp

Method:


Ground keema with all Ingredients listed in koftas and make a paste.And make them into 10 koftas. Keep aside.

Take a pan, add 1/2 cup water and add Green cardamom, black cardamom, Cloves, cinnamon and let it come to boil.
Then add koftas and cook thoroughly,till most of the water evaporates.

Take a pan add oil and add onions and saute them till its Brown.
Remove it and ground to fine paste.
In the same pan add 1/2 cup water, Chilly pd, Fennel pd, ginger pd and let it boil and wait till raw smell goes away.
Add onion paste, salt and cook, the add koftas with leftover water from koftas and cook them well till it boils rapidly, cover and cook for 15 min, serve hot with chapati.
