Koftha Dilpasand (Kashmiri Recipe)

Once again a kofta recipe from kashmir cuisine...



Ingredients:


For Koftas:


Ground Meat- 250 gm / 1/2 lb
Kashmiri Red Chilli pd - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Jeera(Cumin pd) - 3/4 tsp
Garam masala - 3/4 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
 Oil - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 2  chopped finely
Curd - 2 tbsp
Mawa/whoa - 3 tbsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Fennel pd - 1 tsp

Gravy:

Hing - 1/4 tsp
Ghee / oil - 5 tbsp

Mix together and beat well


Curd - 1/2 cup
Kashmiri Red Chilli pd - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Coriander pd - 1/2 tsp
Cumin pd - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Fennel pd - 1/2 tsp
Ginger pd - 1/4 tsp

Method:


Mix all kofta ingredients in a blender and form a fine paste. Make 10 long koftas, keep aside.

Take a pan add oil and add Hing abs saute well, then add Curd mixture and keep stirring till it boils, then add koftas and let it come to boil and cook thoroughly.Add salt if needed.Finally add a teaspoon of lemon juice. Serve hot

Optional:

A little Kezar dissolved in little warm water can be added towards the end.
